Breathing is the basis of life. It is the fundamental aspect of being alive.

Life starts with an inhale of breathe and finishes with the last exhale. But it is not limited to the air we inhale and exhale. If it was, the doctor in the medical rooms could use ventilator and other devices to push air into the lungs and make human immortal. There’s so much within the breathe.

Praan : the life within. It is the life energy that adds soul to the physical body. It is what gives the human, the notion of being alive.

Realization

Close you eyes and take a moment to realize the inhale and exhale of our breathe. What do you notice? Maybe, check it multiple times in a day.

You are not actually breathing all the time from both the nose(nostril).

You breathe in from one side of the nose sometimes, while from another side of the nose, other times. Also, a small fraction of time through both side of the nose. Interesting? There’s more to it.

There is science behind how often it switches between the nose you breathe in, how long do you breathe in from a nose and so on.

There is already a known engineering about planetary alignment in astrology, that defines how stars — sun, moon and earth are aligned in our solar system. That timing seems to co-relate with the timing of one/both side of our nose being dominant while breathing.

And there is something beyond, coz everything has to be connected: You and the universe.

Questions are important

I am not giving any answers here, coz I can’t. I am still trying to connect the dots. But I am raising questions on some of the least dwelled upon topic of 21st century. When we were born, what was the main aspect of our life? As we start growing up, are we just adding more layers to obstruct our path back to the main aspect — the fundamental, that connects us to the ultimate reality : The answer to all of our questions that Science is not able to answer, yet.

It’s a long journey, but I am confident curious ones will find a way, to understand oneself, and to reach the end of the tunnel to find the light, and inspire others along the process.

Good news: the process is simple to start. Follow your breathe.

Happy Learning.
